NATASHA HARRISON
Natasha Harrison is a native Rhode Islander who graduated with a BFA from the RISD glass department in 1991. She went on to co-found and run a nonprofit arts organization with Lisa Randall called Island Arts in Newport RI. For 16 years the organization served the community through two locations that included a 1200 sq. foot donated exhibition space, classrooms, darkroom, year round outreach programs for at-risk youth and countless art exhibitions and events.
Harrison continued to pursue her work in glass and graduated from The Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2007 to receive her MFA.
Harrison is presently the Executive Director of the Newport Tree Conservancy and
lives and creates art work in Newport, RI.
